Adafruit's Return Policy allows for the return of items that are in re-sellable condition (not opened, not soldered, not on fire) within a certain timeframe. For Domestic (US orders), items returned 30 days or less from receipt can be refunded or given store credit. If returned more than 30 days from receipt of package, store credit only is given. For International orders, items can be returned 30 days or less from date of shipment for a refund or store credit. If returned more than 30 days from date of shipment, store credit only is given. They do not accept returns of wearable PPE (masks, shields, gloves, etc.) and thermometers that require body contact. They also do not accept returns from AdaBox subscriptions. Returns for Purchase Orders are store credit only. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product arrives damaged or defective. For returns of items valued at $500 or more they charge a 5% re-stocking fee. They do not accept any returns from orders that are over 6 months old.

As for Adafruit's Shipping Policy, all orders ship from the Adafruit factory, New York, NY, USA. Orders usually ship within 1-2 business days. With the DHL Express Worldwide, UPS 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day air shipping options, orders placed by 11am ET during weekdays usually ship same day. They do not ship to hotels or mail forwarders. They may not be able to ship to PO Boxes depending on location or if there are known issues with the location. Not all shipping options are available to all locations. If shipping / billing names do not match or the payment method is outside the USA they may cancel the order. They ship free to U.S. Military APO/FPO addresses via USPS Priority mail. Customers are responsible for both the return shipping costs and shipping costs from the original order unless the product arrives damaged or defective.
